Justine, Nicholas
Justine Nicholas, Lead Recruitment Coordinator, AIM2ACT

Justine Nicholas, MS is a clinical research coordinator with the University of Florida Department of Pediatrics. Her current research projects focus on improving the care of teens diagnosed with asthma. Other research interests include increasing engagement of minority populations in clinical research and in clinical research professionals roles.

Debra McDonald, Research Coordinator, AIM2ACT

Debra McDonald, MA, is a clinical research coordinator with the University of Florida Department of Pediatrics. Her current research projects focus on helping teens with asthma learn to better manage their condition.  Other research interests include increasing the availability of genetic testing to women to help prevent hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Emilie Pearson, BS is a Research Coordinator with the University of Florida Department of Pediatrics. Previously, she worked in the Pediatric ICU recruiting patients and their families for various research projects. Her current projects focus on asthma management in teens as well as screening for Type 1 diabetes.

Rebeccah Kam
Rebeccah Kam, Research Coordinator, AIM2ACT

Rebecca Kam, BS in Psychology, is a Research Coordinator in the University of Florida’s Department of Pediatrics. As a former research assistant in the UF Cancer Center, she has experience in both data and lab management, and has helped coordinate several oncology research studies. Her current research projects focus on helping teens with asthma and families with type 1 diabetes.

Malinda Tran, Research Coordinator, AIM2ACT

Malinda Tran, BS is a research coordinator in the University of Florida’s Department of Pediatrics. Previously, she was a research assistant on a project that helped families with type 1 diabetes. Her current research projects focus on improving asthma management in teens and improving quality of care pediatric patients with craniofacial medical conditions.
